ENERGY STAR® – January 2017

Cincinnati Financial’s headquarters facility earned its 2016 ENERGY STAR certification, recognizing successful efforts to save energy, reduce pollution and increase efficiency. To receive this certification, commercial buildings must perform in the top 25 percent of similar buildings nationwide; findings are independently verified by a licensed professional engineer. ENERGY STAR certified buildings average 35 percent less energy usage and produce 35 percent less carbon monoxide emissions than typical buildings. 

Newsweek – June 2016

Cincinnati Financial ranks No. 416 out of 500 publicly traded companies in Newsweek’s 2016 Top Green Companies in the U.S. The study measured environmental performance using eight key performance indicators: energy, carbon, water and waste productivity; green revenue score; sustainability pay link; sustainability board committee; and audited environmental metrics.  

LEED Silver - March 2015

Cincinnati Financial's headquarters facility is LEED® certified to the Silver level under the Existing Buildings: Operation and Maintenance rating system for five years.
