We are all experiencing disruptions to our lives and our work due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To help you weather this uncertain time, Cincinnati is applying a 15% premium credit to all personal lines auto policies. If you have a question that is not answered here, please contact your local independent agent.

It’s taken all of us staying at home, keeping our distance and practicing strong personal hygiene to slow the spread of COVID-19. We are offering this credit as a result of your reduced driving.

No, you do not need to take any action to receive your credit. The credit applies automatically to all Cincinnati personal lines auto policies during the months of April and May.

Yes, we are pausing cancellations due to non payment of premium and waiving late fees until at least May 31. Cincinnati is also temporarily waiving restrictions on performing delivery services in efforts to protect the wellbeing of your community.

We expect to issue credits in June.

Policyholders who pay your premium directly to Cincinnati Insurance: If you don’t have any unpaid premium for the remainder of your policy term, you will receive a check directly from Cincinnati or a deposit to your bank account if you have signed up for Electronic Funds Transfer. Otherwise, you will receive a 15% credit on your next billing statement.

Policyholders who pay your premium to your agent: You will receive a check directly from Cincinnati. Please continue to pay any remaining installments as usual.

Yes. We are filing this credit in all states, including those without a formal stay-at-home order.

No. If you are not insured with us for the entirety of either month, you will receive a pro-rated credit.

You will receive a pro-rated credit if you are a new policyholder beginning in April or May.

The Stay-at-Home credit is currently approved for April and May. We will monitor the situation as it develops and revisit our response if orders extend beyond May.
