Our Internship program provides college students who are continuing their
undergraduate or graduate studies and are of sophomore standing or higher with
the opportunity to gain meaningful work experience while growing in their
chosen academic area.
We welcome all majors to apply. Some of the departments where interns work
include:
- Accounting
- Claims
- Commercial Lines
- Human Resources
- Information Technology
- Internal Audit
- Loss Control
- Machinery & Equipment
- Personal Lines
- Premium Audit
- Sales
In addition to performing duties in their departments, interns also
participate in a variety of educational events, including:
- participation in an introduction to insurance class
- sessions with multiple departments to learn about the insurance industry and
our corporate structure
- regular meetings with our executive team
- participation in a corporate research project and presentation
Our goal is to build strong relationships with our interns and develop
connections that can help us meet our future staffing needs. Interns are given
the chance to showcase their talents through challenging assignments and
opportunities while contributing in their assigned work units.
