Field Claims
Field claims representatives are the face of our company, working directly
with policyholders after a loss. Duties and responsibilities include prompt
reporting, coverage analysis, investigation, informed decision-making and
settlement negotiations. Field claims representatives possess strong
communications skills, demonstrate decision-making experience, have strong
analytical skills and, because field claims representatives work out of offices
in their homes, they must be organized, self-disciplined and
self-motivated.
Your field claims career at Cincinnati Insurance begins with a combination
of mentoring and structured training. Before you receive your own
territory assignment, individuals without prior claims experience work with an
experienced claims representative on the job and then come to Cincinnati
Financial Headquarters for formal classroom training. After training, you work
and operate out of your home, close to our agents and policyholders.
